Sonarworks are proud to announce they are partnering with Universal Audio to fully integrate Sonarworks SoundID Reference speaker & headphone calibration directly into Apollo interfaces.
Sonarworks users will need the new Apollo Monitor Correction Add-on for this integration, available as a downloadable patch or as part of a bundle.
This add-on will be available in November.
The newly released generation 2 Apollo X interfaces come with a new feature called Apollo Monitor Correction.
This will allow users to open calibration profiles created with SoundID Reference.
The workflow will be simple and convenient, allowing users to directly apply SoundID Reference profiles to realtime Apollo X DSP using a high number of studio-grade precision filters and alignment delays for stereo and multi-channel speaker arrays, as well as simultaneous headphone outputs.
This is the first application of an API integration- the UAD Console “hostsˮ SoundID Reference, allowing seamless and highly convenient interaction between the two products.
This integration streamlines the process by eliminating multiple steps, extra clicks, and unnecessary complexities.
Apollo X desktop models can correct the main monitor output and one headphone output at the same time.
Apollo X rackmount models can correct the main monitor output and two headphone outputs at the same time. The main monitor outputs can be running in stereo or multichannel mode for surround and immersive applications.
This update will affect not only the new Apollo X Gen 2 interfaces but also the existing Apollo X Gen 1 models, including those already in use.
